By nature, parents are not meant to bury their children and yet through illness, a parent can end up experiencing their worst nightmare. Mr. Gerald Onyango had to say goodbye to his little girl, Tamika, who had succumbed to her long ailment after putting up a brave fight.

Tamika Monique Stewart died after a long battle with liver cirrhosis and the family was left with a substantial medical bill of 7 million Kenya shillings aside from the emptiness that losing a loved one brings with it.

Our RSM LBF Western Region Mr Stephen Oudia, accompanied by Alex Onyango and John Adhola (PCL Staff Kisumu) recently met with Mr. Gerald Onyango, at the requiem mass service at St Joseph Catholic Church, to offer our heartfelt condolences for his loss. We also wanted to offer our assistance where necessary and presented him with a cheque to try and help reduce the hefty medical bill they were left with.

May the good Lord continue to offer them comfort in their time of need.
